Welcome!

Today was a good day, no breathing problems! He was having cramps, so tonight we are going to give him Baby Gas-X and hopefully that will help get rid of the cramps. We went to the hospital and started the process for enrolling Landon in the Exceptional Family Members Program, this means the Navy will make sure wherever we go there will be people there to care for Landon's needs. Also today the nurse from the New Parent Support came by to check on Landon and us.

This is just too cute!

Hello Bonnett-Castillo family,
I have been linked to your blog by my good friend Jennifer Benfield. Let me first Congratulate you on the birth of your beautiful son. I have enjoyed reading your posts and eagerly await to read more about Landon's progress.

I also live in Yokosuka, Japan with a newborn. And my husband is on the Blue Ridge (ENS EKLUND, PAO). I want to extend myself for any assistance you may need. I'm a great cook if you've had a long afternoon at the hospital, I have been known to listen pretty well and my son was born in April so I have many clothes and diapers that he has outgrown if you're interested.

Otherwise, I just wanted to say congratulations and to send you good wishes. You're little family is beautiful.

Hello Rachael,
I wanted to say hello, Landon is beautiful. I'm so glad he is doing well and you've had so much time with him. I also wanted to let you know there is a wonderful message board where many of the families living with a trisomy 13 child visit and share their common experiences. There are also many informational resources for our trisomy 13 families.

Hope you can come visit the site and if interested come join our message boards
