Today was another great day, Landon is doing perfect. No breathing problems! The Baby Gas-X seems to be helping, he did not cramp as bad today. We also found out today Grandma Carla and Grandpa Jim are coming out and they are bringing Great Grandma Lawania with them!! We are excited for them to come out here!!

Today was a good day, no breathing problems! He was having cramps, so tonight we are going to give him Baby Gas-X and hopefully that will help get rid of the cramps. We went to the hospital and started the process for enrolling Landon in the Exceptional Family Members Program, this means the Navy will make sure wherever we go there will be people there to care for Landon's needs. Also today the nurse from the New Parent Support came by to check on Landon and us.

Once again our little man gave us a scare!! This morning at 4:30 he was crying so hard he stopped breathing. And like I said in a previous post, its taking longer each time for him to start breathing again. But, thankfully he did start again! The rest of the day went by great, he was having his stomach cramps, but no more breathing problems. Liz came by to say hello and to visit Landon tonight. We weighed Landon and he is up to 8 1/2 pounds!!! He is getting big!

Landon had another "episode" this morning at 6:00. He didn't throw up, so that was good, but it took awhile to start him breathing. It seems like its taking a little longer each time. But, he is breathing fine now. We went for a walk today and he seemed to enjoy being outside. We think he liked the brightness of the sun.

This is happening too often now, Landon stopped breathing again. This time it was at 3:30 in the morning. We were laying in bed and he was sleeping on my chest. He would stop breathing for a couple seconds, but would start on his own or just by me patting him a little. But then he threw up and would not start breathing. So we used the aspirator to get everything out of his throat and started doing mouth to mouth. He kept throwing up a little, and we kept using the aspirator. This time there was blood coming out. We are not sure if the aspirator cut him, or if the blood was coming from somewhere inside him. He did start breathing again, but it took awhile this time. Carlos was suppose to work today, but they let him come home. We are grateful, and are just spending family time together and taking pictures. As of right now he seems to be doing better, but as we have found out it can change at any minute.
Now, for a funny story... Carlos was changing Landon's diaper and had his legs is a position that apparently turned out to be a bad position... Landon "shot" out a poop ball and it landed on Carlos!!! Hilarious!! I hope that was not to gross for anyone reading this!

Landon says "I love my mommy and daddy this much"
It happened again... he stopped breathing... We were on our way home from the Blue Ridge picnic, he was crying and screaming, and then looked like he was holding his breath. He started turning blue, and stopped breathing all together. We used the aspirator to get everything out of his throat and then started giving him mouth to mouth. We started heading over to the ER (we live right next to the hospital). By time we got there he started breathing, so we did not go in. We just brought him home. This time was not as scary as the other 2 times because he started breathing a lot quicker, and he didn't throw up. Maybe we caught it a little faster this time since we were holding him, and maybe thats why it did not take as long for him to start breathing. At this point we are not sure what is going on with him, we know he is a fighter, but we don't know how much fight he has left in him. At some point it is not up to him anymore.

Landon gave us another scare today. I was walking home from the post office when I noticed Landon was not looking right, he looked a little blue. When took him out of his stroller he threw up and was not breathing. I got all the throw up out of his mouth and started giving him mouth to mouth. A corpsman was walking by and asked if he could help, he then took over. Landon started to breath (not well), and shortly after an ambulance arrived. We went to the emergency room and they gave him oxygen and cleared his airway a little better. His oxygen level was still not as high as it should be, and they were not sure if it was going to get any better (or if he was going to pass away) so they attempted to put in an IV in case they needed to give him morphine to take away any discomfort. They could not get and IV in, but by that time Landon's oxygen level was getting better so they decided they didn't need to put it in anymore. They monitored him a little while longer, and then we came home. This happened last week as well, I was at home by myself when he threw up and stopped breathing, I gave him mouth to mouth and he started breathing. I did not take him to the hospital though. Since he has been throwing up, and spitting up this past week the pediatrician recommended we decrease his food. He was all the way up to 60ml (2 oz.) every 3 hours. We have decreased it to 52ml, so hopefully he will do better with that amount. As we have said so many times before, Landon is such a fighter!! And he has shown us over and over again how strong he is.

Landon hanging out this morning

Hello! Landon is doing great, and seems to be growing! He has been spitting up a lot!! Which we know is normal for babies, but he has just started so we are not used to it yet. We are still not too sure if he can see out of his eye, at times it seems like he is looking around. We know he can sense light because he jumps when the flash goes off in pictures.
