We went to the doctor today and she estimated me at 5 weeks and 4 days. The appointment went great and she spent a lot of time with us (1 1/2 hours). She told us about different tests we can have to see how this baby is developing. We are going in for the first ultrasound this Friday. She knew Charlie was leaving on Sunday for school so she wanted to make sure he got to be there for the first ultrasound. She said the baby was going to look like a blob, but there is a good chance we can see its heart beating. Also around 12 weeks I am going to have a ultrasound that has a lot of detail, its a Nuchal Translucency Screening Test. It just looks for abnormalities, and then if something is wrong we will have further testing. I can't wait to see my little baby on Friday, it will just make this so much more real.
Today we went and visited Landon. His plaque is up in the Angel of Hope. We took a picture so everyone could see, they use glue to put them up so right now pieces of wood are holding it in place. Also, I about had a heart attack when we saw Landon's grave today... Everything was off!! We looked around and everything was off all the graves. Now, I know on the first Tuesday of the month everything has to be off the grave for maintenance, but thats not until next week. So I was freaking out a little and we went to the office, apparently a letter was sent out 3 weeks ago saying everything needed to be off yesterday since they were putting in Winter grass. We never got the letter, I was ready to cry, but then she told me everything was out back still... it had not been thrown out yet. So we went and collected all of his belongings and brought them home. They can't go back for 4 weeks. But as soon as I can take them back, I will. I'm just glad we went to visit him today, otherwise all of his things would be gone.

Rocky Point was great, and a lot of fun. We got there Thursday and pretty much just stayed at the pool all day. Then Friday morning we went into town to look at the shops, then came back and hung out at the pool all afternoon. We went down to the beach and swam in the ocean. I was pretty much freaked out the whole time... when we were walking in the sand I saw little crabs, and I figured at any moment one of them was going to decide to pinch me... they didn't... Then that night we went to the penthouse and my dad cooked for all of us. Tyler and Charlie had drank a little too much at the swim up bar earlier and were a little too "happy".... the night was pretty good until an arguement broke out about politics and who was voting for who... Lets just say some people have very strong opinions on who to vote for. Then Saturday it was time to leave, it really didn't seem like we were there long enough, but it was still a great vacation!!
Now a little news about the pregnancy... on the way to Rocky Point I got a call from the doctor's office with the results from my blood test, they came back positive. They said I was about 3-4 weeks. I got a referral for an OB and have an appointment for tomorrow morning. I know I am being crazy (at least thats what Charlie is telling me) but still, I really don't feel pregnant, not the way I did with Landon. So tomorrow if they were to tell me I was not pregnant, I would not be too suprised. I know that sounds silly, but until I see the little baby on an ultrasound I am going to have a little doubt in the back of my head.

My doctor's appointment was today, I thought I would get the results, but they wont be ready until Friday. I did take another home pregnancy test today... and it was positive (no surprise there!) We also went to visit Charlie's 7th grade French teacher, he enjoyed seeing her. Tomorrow we leave for Rocky Point and will be back on Saturday. I will be posting pictures of our trip when I get back :)

Yesterday was my mom's birthday so we went out to dinner at Kyoto to celebrate. She turned 50!!
Today we went to Prescott to see Charlie's mom, Mima. We went to lunch and looked at the shops, then we went to dinner.
Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment, and I am getting a little nervous. I know I took 5 home pregnancy tests, but those are not always right. I will be relieved once the doctor does a blood test. So until then, I am going to be prepared for anything.

Its time to share the secret we told Landon... He is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!! We just found out I am pregnant again, and I am probably only 3 weeks. I have taken 5 pregnancy tests and they have all been positive. I go to the doctor on Wednesday to confirm the pregnancy (probably with a blood test). We are so excited, but trying not too get too excited just in case for some reason it comes back that I am not pregnant, or if anything happens to the baby. For any of you that are curious... this was a bit of a surprise... we were not exactly trying, but we were not doing anything to prevent it either. We knew we would get pregnant again when the time was right. We are so happy to be having another baby, but until the results come back on Wednesday we are calling it our "maybe baby"

We are back home! We got to Phoenix yesterday, and are so happy to be back. We only have a couple weeks here together until Charlie goes to Virginia for school. Last night we went to see Landon, we brought some flowers for him. Then today we went back with a flower cross and a stuffed elephant, it plays "Rock A Bye Baby". On the ribbon we put Landon's name and then Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Carla, Grandpa Jim, Uncle Tyler, and Callie signed it for him. Grandpa Paul came today and brought a solar light for Landon. We love being here and being able to go see Landon whenever we want. We talked to him, and told him a secret... which we will tell everyone else soon enough...

We are all moved out!! Our pack out was yesterday, and we are now in the Navy Lodge. I was not sure if I was going to be able to get on the internet until we were in Phoenix, but all the rooms have the internet available.
On Tuesday Charlie had a soccer game, and his team won 12-2. Charlie was goalie most of the night, but towards the end he went in and played, he even scored a goal! The moon was beautiful that night, and I could not stop taking pictures!
Last night after our pack out we went to dinner at Chili's with Chaplain Benefield, Jennifer, and their kids. We had a lot of fun with their family, and were glad we had the chance to say good bye. They have been there for us with everything that has been going on, and have appreciated them so much!

Hello! Today we are disconnecting our phone line and internet, so most likely we wont be back on until Friday when we are in Phoenix. We are excited to go back and see our families. The week after we get there we are going to Rocky Point with my family and some family friends for my mom's 50th birthday! We are excited to be going on vacation, and being able to go to the pool and have fun. But, even though we are happy to be going, there is a bit of sadness too, when we originally decided to go we thought we would be bringing Landon with us. We planned on getting him a little sun hat, and swim trunks. He enjoyed his bath so much, we thought he would love the pool too. We know he is happy where he is, but we still miss him so much! The lady (Angela) who made us the baby also made him a little hat, its adorable and I put a picture of it below...
So cute!

I was looking on the internet one day for memorial items for Landon, I came across a lady's website that makes memorial baby dolls. I got in contact with her, and she made me one for Landon. Today she emailed me some pictures of him, and she did an amazing job!! She got all 6 toes on him, and the doll is even missing his ear... just like Landon. Even his little hands are up at his chin, just like he always had them. I told her that it is so hard to find memorial items for Landon, because there is nothing out there that looks like him. He had such unique characteristics, but what she did was perfect! If you look at the second photo you can see her holding him, and how tiny he is. I don't know how she does such a good job, but I am so glad I found her!
